Creat Web3 Wallet

OpenTaskAI supports multiple wallets, such as: MetaMask, OKX Wallet, WalletConnect, Trust Wallet, MathWallet, TokenPocket, etc.

Here, we take the example of the MetaMask:

1. Download and Install MetaMask:

• Go to the MetaMask website or the extension/add-on page of your preferred web browser (such as Chrome, Firefox, or Brave).

• Download and install the MetaMask extension. Make sure you are downloading from the official source to avoid scams.

2. Create a New Wallet:

• Once the extension is installed, click on the MetaMask icon in your browser's toolbar.

• MetaMask will open a welcome screen. Click on "Get Started".

• You will have the option to either import an existing wallet using a seed phrase or create a new wallet. Choose “Create a Wallet”.

3. Set Up Your Wallet:

• Agree to the terms and privacy policy if you wish, then proceed.

• Create a strong password that will be used to unlock your wallet in the browser. Make sure to remember this password or store it in a secure password manager.

• After setting the password, MetaMask will generate a "Secret Recovery Phrase" (also known as a seed phrase). This phrase is crucial for recovering your wallet if you forget your password or if your device is lost, so it must be written down and stored securely.

4. Secure Your Secret Recovery Phrase:

• Write down your secret recovery phrase on paper and store it in a secure location. Do not store it digitally or share it with anyone.

• Confirm your secret recovery phrase by selecting the words in the order they were given to you.

5. Your Wallet is Ready:

• Once you have confirmed your secret recovery phrase, your wallet is ready to use.

• You can now view your wallet address, also known as your public key, which can be used to receive funds. Click on the account name at the top of the MetaMask interface to copy your wallet address.

6. Manage and Use Your Wallet:

• You can now send and receive Ethereum and other supported tokens.

• Always ensure that your browser and the MetaMask extension are up to date to keep your wallet secure.

Creating a MetaMask wallet provides you with a wallet address and the ability to interact with Ethereum's network, allowing you to participate in activities like trading, staking, and using decentralized applications.
